Practice for Spring Lake Hartwell Tournament

Caught 3 bass, two on shakey head worm and one on a crankbait. All three largemouth were keepers weighing between 1 1/2 to 3 pounds. Fishing around brush in twenty feet of water just off a creek chanel. Those were the only bites I got. Weather was sunny and cool.

Caught 4 bass, one on crankbait the others on shakey head. All were keepers ranging from 1 to four pounds. The one pound fish was a spot the other three nice fat largemouth. Fished isolated brush around creek chanel bends. Had several more bites but either missed them or the only hit once. Weather was somewhat overcast and cool.

Feb 5

One of the rare occasions I am able to fish during the week. Caught eighteen to twenty bass. All on shakey head worm. Approximately half largemouth, half spots. The largemouth ranged in size from one to five pounds with most hovering in the three pound range. The spots were anywhere from eight inches to a pound and a half. All on rocky points in twenty to six feet of water. Weather was sunny and pleasant.
