Brad
and I fished an open tournament that left out of Reeders.
We
fished several spots during the coarse of the morning picking up a small
fish or two then moved to a point just off the main lake with a creek
channel that ran just up to the point.
We
fished the deep side first and as soon as we moved around to the shallow
side I caught a keeper a little over two pounds and Brad caught one a
little under two pounds on the first casts to that area. For the next
two hours we caught fifteen to twenty more fish, most a pound to pound
and a half.
We
decided then to hit some different spots in hopes of finding a bigger
fish.
After
lunch, with no success we moved back to the spot we had caught all the
fish before and after twenty to thirty minutes in this area Brad caught
our biggest fish of the day weighing four and a half pounds.
All
of the fish we caught bit a shakey head worm.
We
wound up third with 12 3/4 pounds.
